Chats lists the conversations that belong to no project, the newest first. A chat appears here once you have asked its first question, and its answers rest on the libraries you choose for it. A chat you want to keep with a piece of work can be added to a project from its menu.
A project brings together the chats about one piece of work and the libraries you choose for it. Each chat in a project searches the libraries linked to that project, so its answers rest on the papers you picked.
Public holds the libraries their owners have published, together with Discovered Abstracts. Anyone can read a published library, its records and abstracts, without signing in, and the full text of a work is readable without signing in only where it is cleared for public reading. Chatting with a library needs an account.
Discovered Abstracts collects the details and abstracts of the papers your papers cite, which the app finds for you automatically. It is for members.
